Tim, Congratulations on the move. I think the TMS has tidied up the place over the last few months to make the pages worthy of your columns.

I get why Dave would remove the front page link - it's no longer a current feature. If he removes the old columns, that would be a shame. I'll say this much for Dave, he provided a platform for someone who presented views that usually countered his own and were always more eloquent. I get why he's hurt, but I think the paper is the better place for the column. Also classy of Tim to be so honest about his intentions, most people would cook up something phony.

Anyone know which editorial Antonovich is referring to? I'd love to read it. He and Molina represent lots of unincorporated residents and when they agree on something, I like to take interest and generally agree.

Good news on the Farmer's Market. I'll have to give it a second chance.

Regarding the LTE from Antonovich: How did a letter to the Editor for the L.A. Times get into our little Signal paper? And what has happened to the 300 words or less? L.A. Times was mentioned so often in that article, I checked 3 times to make sure I was reading the Signal and NOT the L.A. Times! There was no reference in the L.A. Times (in their LTE section) about this subject.....hmmmm......Did they pass it on to other papers? I wonder if the paper for San Gabriel got the same letter printed?

I once sent a LTE several years ago referring to an L.A. Times article and the editor (at the time) replied to tell me that they do not like referring to other articles.....hmmmmm . Apparently that's not the new editor's policy.

Timothy Myers>>>>

I only wish I could be so tactful with my words. Nice under the radar dig , Tim. Good luck with the Signal. I do not read the Signal because I believe management is "too friendly" with the advertisers and local special interest. I will read any article that Jeff decides is worthy of the SCVTALK, so maybe I will get to see yours.

Good luck!

"thx cash. noted and changed. I get confused on these finance matters easily".

No problem Jeff, fact is that the mouth from the West has it wrong as well. I do not believe his Cal Arts education has prepared him to discuss such financial matters. Although the art of "cut and paste" was probably part of the training he received.

I can't argue with Dave Bossert's narrative of the situation between the WRB and The Signal. I just selfishly want more people to see the stuff!!

"Bossert excises Myers posts from West Ranch Beacon, says Myers lacks integrity"

This is like the "pot calling the kettle black". When did the mouth of the West become worthy of assessing ones integrity.
