Man, McKeon is such a loser. Quick, send more troops to Afghanistan before we know the results of the runoff election for president. Just maintain the status quo by unquestioningly supporting the corrupt Karzai government.

And why is Buck so eager to place an additional 40,000+ American troops in harm’s way? It’s at this point I should say something like how many of Buck’s 36 offspring are serving in the military? But why should they bear the burden of his ignorance? If McKeon is capable of starting a war, he’s capable of fighting it. So pack up your bags and grab your M16 Buck, you’re going to be dodging IED’s for the holidays. Ho, ho, ho…

Notice he didn’t even mention Al Queda once in his statement? Has he forgotten who attacked us on 9/11?

Mom & bike – boy she sure showed her son that he can not give a whiff about the first bike, or the second one, and that mom will fix it for him.

Hey, Jane, I guess you would just let the thief keep her son’s bike, typical Californian.
FYI, Jane, my son’s first bike got stolen from my side yard you ignorant yahoo!

Jeff, McFarland’s mom lived to 98. She gave up skiing at 91. What a terrific life force. I enjoyed reading Bruce’s tribute.

Newguy, Magic Mountain wasn’t even open yesterday according to their website. Maybe it was a private party.

And Jane, what has the world come to when people like you are so quick to blame the victims of crime rather than the criminals?

Kudos to Martha. She took a major risk in repossessing the bike without first checking the serial number . . . but I applaud her motherly RAGE. We all should be proactive in our community. The little hoodlum got off easy though. He could have and should have been charged with the theft.

I like Mama Bear too. Kudos! Bike thieves suck! I had my bike stolen. Got it back. The perp got frog marched off to the pokey, but I didn’t press charges.

Thanks, Jeff and MammaReader, I appreciate the support.
Sorry, I called you a name, Jane, you are not in the possession of all the facts.
I am glad you got your bike back too, Jeff.

I do not think that it is appropriate for the politicos to have placed bricks at Veteran’s Historical Plaza recognizing themselves. To my way of thinking , it should only be for veterans. This reader would like to know whether they paid for their bricks like everyone else.
