He also says the “local political process has mutated into something grotesque and unrecognizable,” and that the political machine in the SCV is in “overdrive with chatter about” Dave Gauny and TimBen Boydston with “lies about infidelities, unspoken motives, past behaviors and character assassinations.” Wow! What a post. WEST RANCH BEACON
Finally, on this day 68 years ago United States naval forces were attacked by the Empire of Japan in Pearl Harbor:
Re: DB
What was the threat? Is someone going to ring his doorbell and run?
Jackals attacking the shining light of justice!!
On a side note, I recently stood behind Bossert in line at a local grocery store. He didn’t notice the condoms and whipped cream I placed in his pile of goods!! Way to be aware, Davey!!
I am proud of my “jackaly” behavior.
This year’s changes are relatively minor considering Santa Clarita’s total budget is about $250 million, Hernandez said.
$10 million in taxpyer money is not relatively minor. It is this kind of thinking that needs to be corrected.
Its not that the City is adjusting $10 million for its own benefit. The adjustment being made mostly becasue of increased costs being passed along through contracts with Los Angeles County, etc.
If the City provided these services themselves, the increase could have been worse.
I think the City is doing a good job with its finances given the economy. I havent seen much in the way of services being cut to residents.
GangFang:
Are you going to pay my dry cleaning bill, because you just caused me to wet myself!
putting aside the absurdity of appointing someone weeks after an election, the board, or any board in a similar situation, should place a high premium on applicants that promise not to seek re-election.
It is all paid by the taxpayers. City, State, County or otherwise.
In this economy and with no service cuts might suggest we had a bloated city staff.
However, it has been reported that reductions have been made and contingency dollars have been impacted.
The budget is not $250,000,000.00 it is much less and this number is over stated. The general fund is more like 144 million +-. It appears the $10,000,000.00 applies to the general fund. If that is the case the issue is much bigger than the Signal reported. The budget including capital improvements is about 171 million. Using 250 million makes us feel better is suppose.
I would assume I am one of those “character assasins” Dave is refering to since I had the gall to actually report an actual incident I had with a candidate whom I, previous to that encounter, supported.I stand by each and every one of my statements. Dave is certainly entitled to his opinion but since he opines about just about everything, I believe I also have that right too. If it is good for the goose, it’s good for the gander Dave! But I do agree, that spreading rumors and anonymous mudslinging are a problem.
Tim: The only downside to such a prank is that I never got to see Daveybaby’s reaction when he got home and was putting away the groceries. God, I hope the wife was home!!
Did Ms. smoke and mirrors chime in again?
Is the troll back again?
Jeff, the lead story is Pearl Harbor.
Thank you for providing recognition of this important day in our history.
The troll with the hyphen?
guess again, little man.
Then it must be you. You are the one with the least to offer. Troll away.
Money don’t bother to try and reason with the troll. As I am sure you have already realized, if he wants your opinion, he’ll give it to you. He can’t win a debate on the merit of his arguments so he just tries to insult and bully you into submission.Did my chiming in ring your bell, Cash sweetheart? I actually feel sorry for the little troll.
Once again, your true style is now understood. You don’t debate, you run to the Signal with cheap shots looking for fame. I think we know who the bully is, let’s not forget the issue. TimBen did not give in to your position on Bonelli, so you attacked him. Now you try the same tactic with me. It only took a little pushing for you to come unglued. You’ll even make nice with Money, one of the no names worms to make your point.
See you on SCV TV.
Hey Jeff, Since when an I just “a letter writer” to you????
Cash, Money was not insulting as are you, poor little fellow. I am quite glued together thanks for your concern. It must be lonely under that cold, dark, musty bridge…
Just watched the Pearl Harbor video. Man . . . we shoudda nuked ‘em. Hey . . . . wait a minute!!!!!!
Was that a black leather jacket or is it grey. The groupie showed up as predicted.
You and TimBen were there too so I guess you are groupies also? It was black and you were close enough to me to see if you had worn your glasses instead of contacts. I don’t blame you for avoiding eye contact.
