Even when I don’t do the Daily Brief, there appears to be a lot of things to talk about in Santa Clarita. So consider this an “Open Thread” where you can discuss whatever you like.

And Jeff, I’m concerned about your last sentence. It brings up the Peter Paul and Mary song (written by John Denver)’I'm leavin’ on a jet plane – don’t know if I’ll be back again’. You will have to be back Jeff to recover your site after Petz takes over.
Petz is humbled by the bipartisan support. No one does it better than Jeff on the front page…..Petz specializes in forum material editorials, opinion, and preaching.
Jeff should be able to relax while away and Petz feels that may not be possible with his nemisis at the wheel of the bus-as opposed to under the bus. Give Harrison Katz a touch and see if he is available.
Lots of family in town and a short trip to Sin City on the agenda-so from a practical stand point Petz is not the best choice this year.
