Lennar Consolidates Valencia Sales Offices

Eschewing the traditional “sales office and model homes on the first street” cliché in tract homes, Lennar is geared to consolidate West Hills, West Creek, and RiverVillage sales offices into one free standing building adjacent Terry Miller Memorial Park, across from Rio Norte Middle School.  This follows NLF’s mini-relo from their landmark space on Valencia Blvd. to their new digs on Tourney.

Lennar’s sales office is geared to open February 13, though there are myriad flags and signage directing traffic to the new facility.  It’s a bold move to have a consolidated sales office but it shows nicely.  These tracts are selling steadily but in small batches; it seems there is a feedback loop of sorts that is influencing subsequent tract design.   Indeed, this move gives Newhall Land and Lennar more flexibility to tweak tracts — and they have.  For example, the Patina-series, large-ish SFRs in West Creek, have been put on ice in favor of higher-density, lower-priced “Aria” homes.

Here’s an inside look at the “New Home Showplace.”

Interest in West Hills?  Turn around and drive to the Showplace.

The facility is adjacent Terry Miller Memorial Park, across from Rio Norte.  The plan for the development involved preservation of a number of native oaks.

The structure isn’t inside a model home – it’s a very fancy temporary structure.  Note the solar roof panels.  The Tesoro Village Shopping Center is in the background.

Inside, the New Home Showplace features partitions, a kiddie area with bean bags, a kitchenette and some highlighted features.

I caught myself drooling over the conservation tech…

“You look really great in this home, well, the one across town…”

No, these aren’t in the HOA bylaws:
