Mr. Frank Jorge was referenced a number of times at tonight’s City Council meeting as evidence to there being other races present at the Anti-Illegal Immigration rally. How could Mr. Kellar be a racist with all these other races involved with the event?
Amidst a sea of comments for and against, the one-and-only Frank Jorge came to the podium and shared that the rally in Santa Clarita was his idea, that the audio equipment was his, and that he served as an emcee for the event. He then plugged a rally in SCV later in February. He is an Antelope Valley Minuteman.
Here is a speech from Mr. Jorge in Harrisburg, PA in September 2007.
At 5:42, Mr. Jorge starts discussing Civil War, and that grandmothers have told him they are “locked and loaded and ready.”
He then makes this frightening remark:
Politicians will respect you. Politicians will acknowledge your power when they see a round flying through their windshield and getting into their flesh. That will get their attention. I’m not advocating violence; it is already here and you have to acknowledge that.
Nervous laughter ensues, followed by scattered applause.
I watched this and it became clear that Kellar’s remarks are a distraction.

Unfortunately, Bob Kellar doesn’t get to hand-pick who will show up to speak on his behalf at a City Council meeting. I’m guessing Kellar, who spent an appreciable portion of his life enforcing the law, wouldn’t agree with talking about graphic violence against elected officials–under a hypothetical context or otherwise.
And again, it’s a shame that people make bad word choices (or make bad whole speeches, in this case), as these clips can be used in an attempt to color what the entire group of anti-illegal-immigration individuals are like.
I Heart, this isn’t some dope in the crowd, this is the guy who ORGANIZED THE EVENT!
NickelDime has done wonders here to bolster my hypothesis that the greatest blunder here is Kellar’s under-utilization of Spidey-sense. He should have known better than to show up.

Bob Kellar is in bed with some unsavory lovers. As is the entire anti immigration “movement”.
That guy coupled with the preacher at the beginning….wow. We missed the exit for Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage territory way back there…these folks took us to John Birch land.

Wow, you have to wonder what the men who fought in the War of Independence would have thought of people like those who are posting on this board. If the thought of a revolution scares you, then hid in your closet. Frank Jorge said what you should all be warned about. The people are tired of this invasion and aren’t going to take it anymore. And we will do what ever it take to get our voices heard. Both Bob and Frank have more courage in their little finger than some of you have in your whole bodies. You deserve to live in a third world slum, you don’t deserve to enjoy what your not willing to fight for.

Once again, many of you (specifically: NickeDime, GangFang, Mike, Jeff) missed the context of Jorge’s speech entirely. He is not condoning violence. The meaning of his sentence is this;
When will change finally happen, when a politician gets shot? I bet they will listen then and act quickly.
Is was nothing more. Reading any more into it than that make me afraid of YOU! Not Jorge.
