Mr. Kellars comments are understood by those that don’t condemn free speech. Spinning Kellar as a racist serves to support those that do not believe in the rule of law. When Bob votes to not support discretionary spending for things like dog parks and bike lanes, perhaps eyes will open to the true issue.

Nope you type a lot but rarily say much of any substance. Labels will not affect the overall count taken in the census, which is the only thing that matters in the end.

You don’t care, that’s fine. But the real “issue” is not going away. Nor am I…
These “labels” may affect the US Census unless they are more accurate which affects redistricting, representation, and federal dollars. Do I have your attention now…

Hello Ms. Simmons.
I am one of those supporters who broke into tears you reference in your article regarding Councilmember Bob Kellar.
As a point of discussion, you site statistics regarding white residents and then later regarding “Latino” residents. How would you count me using those labels? My race is Caucasian, my ethnic background is Hispanic (not Latino just because the Census Bureau says so). There are many of “us”. Do I count twice, once in each category, or only once and in which category? You are doing what so many others do and mixing your “labels” into one. I would question any numbers using those labels from whatever the source.
