The January 16 Tea party/anti-illegal alien rally is like a sickness that just doesn’t go away.
Someone has posted a short video of a roughneck telling the crowd to “buy guns, buy ammo” because the politicians are “screwing us.”
This, of course, just after a preacher from Lancaster asked forgiveness for letting evil people overtake the US and probably moments before you-know-who uttered words he still doesn’t regret.
The speaker then referenced the NAU, which I can only assume is that strange Beckian/Dobbsian Conspiracy about a unified Canada, United States, and Mexico using a unit of currency called the Amero. The NAU conspiracy, oddly, popped up in 2005 during the Bush Administration, so it predates all the Obama conspiracies.
If an exhortation to “buy guns, buy ammo” isn’t a call to arms and an endorsement of violence, I don’t know what is. No wonder the crowd was so worked up they harassed a brown-skinned motorist during the rally.
And these are the people our Councilman gave legitimacy to.
Even Buck McKeon has recognized the folly of it all.
Geez Jeff…funny it looks to me like the “brown skinned” guy is the one who stopped his car, got out of his car, and was making gang like hand gestures at the protesters in addition to cussing at them in Spanish. He was mobile, could have easily kept driving, and ignored them. The protesters kept telling him to leave and “go home”. Who was harassing whom? I was not there, but it looks like it was not the protesters behaving badly there.
I guess all of us present and speaking at the Council meeting gave Mr. Herrera legitimacy by being present when he turned and insulted the woman in the front row too, huh?
WOW BGH it never ends with you. Here is a mob of “minutemen” harassing a guy because he is hispanic. Pointing a camera into his car. He didn’t stop his car he was at a red light.
And By Go Home… they were saying Go back to his country take the 5 south and keep driving? Are you that dense?
After watching the “short video”
the rally looked inflamed.
I do not know why Bob would lend himself to that type of gathering in the first place.
Blazing: I speak Spanish and understood each cuss word the Hispanic guy uttered. They used the camera to record what he was SAYING as well as doing. I probably would have punched the “brown skinned guy” out for talking to me that way and I guess that by your category I am brown skinned too. As I said, he exited his car looking for trouble and was cussing at them. Are you that dense?
Funny, I don’t have people tell me to go home when I am at a stop light but then again I don’t make gang signs and cuss at them either.
Besides, I am home, thanks.
So what you speak Spanish and he cussed he is an adult and they obviously started the harassment. Guy is sitting there in his car and these jerk offs are yelling rude comments to him then sticking their camera in his window. He has the right to drive through Santa Clarita with out being harassed by a bunch of extremist, we also didn’t get to see what provoked the guy to leave his car I am guessing it was asking the guy to quit filming him.
I dare you to drive by the next minute men rally and see if you don’t get some harassment.
the fact you can’t even see the most obvious fact shows how lost you are.
WOW…just watched the video, then comment from Berta Gonzalez-Harper…ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!
Who was harassing whom!?! It was so obvious that this man came to a stop on the corner and these ‘people’ started to refer to him as a person that shouldn’t be here.
Then these ‘people’ had the gull to say this guy was arrested!?!
That group of people yelling those things at the driver were full of HATE…plain and simple! In their words (GO HOME), in their actions (taking pictures and waving signs), then lying about his arrest!
Blazing: I will take that dare.
Nevertheless, I must say you are seeing what you want to see without the context, and that is my point. You were not there, watch a YouTube spot and know everything that happened at the scene.
My scenario is just as plausible as yours is. In fact, I hear Barbara March in the background saying “good job” and knowing how much restraint she has shown in dealing with the illegal immigration issue, am more inclined to believe my scenario than yours. Especially since she says, “the cops are here” and the guy promptly gets back in his car. If the protesters were the instigators, he would have welcomed a sheriff’s presence as a witness and filed charges. I rest my case.
I do agree that people have a right to drive around in peace, whatever their color. However, those looking for trouble, of whatever color, will find it. I think he was the one looking for trouble. Prove me wrong.
BTW, turning the volume up higher, I did not here the gentleman speak any spanish; on the contrary, he first asked, “why you taking my photo for”, then while in the car he asked, “So how do you feel about the black people in this city” when one of the ‘people’ said, “oh yeah you use the race card very conveniently”.
What was said in spanish, Berta Gonzalez-Harper? I couldn’t hear it with all the ‘english speakers’ yelling at this motorist!
I know it’s not PC to say this, but maybe the cops should have done some racial profiling. We know where this guy belonged.
“Throwing gang signs.”
Clearly he was attempting to block the camera’s view of him. Now you’re just being dishonest Bertha.
Another view:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUkBh7uIBWg
NotaFerryFan – I couldn’t hear you please take off the white hood.
Ivogel: Yes I am.
Harassment is unacceptable regardless of the source. I watched the video and listened to the audio. Twice.
Because the assumption has been made that ALL of these people are white radical racists, you favor the “brown skinned guy”.
I do not condone anyone of any color provoking others because of the color of their skin, religion, etc.
There are plenty of “racists” and radicals on the brown side of the fence too. Have you heard of the Aztlan radicals?
I cannot repeat the cuss words. Listen to him while he is sitting inside the car and the guy has the camera at the open window. These are the same insults usually yelled at “gringos”. Yes, the one woman from Herrera’s group in particular keeps yelling but he is cussing in Spanish all the while. I do think there were a few people over the top, but again the guy could have left but instead held up traffic to keep it going. Watch the cars going around him.
Early on, I saw him make what I believe to be a gang sign but I am certainly no expert on gangs. Because I interpret something differently than you do Jeff, does not make me dishonest. What would be dishonest is if I said I agreed with your assessment when I did not. Again, you see it through your prism, I watch and listen not assuming anything. I know there are plenty of Hispanics itching for a fight just as there are plenty of true racists on both sides. We should ask someone who was actually there. Ask Roger Gitlin or Barbara March what transpired.
PS It is BERTA, Jeff.
“I do not condone anyone of any color provoking others because of the color of their skin, religion, etc.”
But you clearly do… Bertha
“There are plenty of “racists” and radicals on the brown side of the fence too. Have you heard of the Aztlan radicals?”
I don’t make excuses for extreme behavior… with other extreme behavior
“Ask Roger Gitlin or Barbara March what transpired.”
Yeah because Roger Gitlin has already shown himself to be an honest guy that only give wrong information to the newspaper like they don’t know how to use Google and defends blatant plagiarism
So you honestly believe that ONE man would try to confront a group of “gringos” by yelling insults in spanish and flahsing gang signs?
I’m having a real hard time with this. The group was rude, belligerent, and was looking to get the reaction they did from him. I would have been pissed off too! However you feel he should have taken it, said nothing and keep going south.
I again listened (even louder) and did not hear the ‘cuss words’ in spanish. Personally, I would have yelled them in english and I wish he had cause he spoke it pretty well, from what I heard him say.
Where’s the video of him standing on the opposite corner? I mean you have a bunch of camera happy people who want “evidence” of this mans ANGER, where is it?!
The kid was obviously a hot head popping off at a mob of hot heads.
Oh and Bertha… that second video we hear the Gringos cussing is very clear English…?
These are the very same people that refer to a multi-family home as a “clown house,” who use use their station as preachers to cast immigrants as “evil doers,” who are “sick and tired of diversity,” the list goes on.
Not only that, most don’t even live here. They’re the ones who should just get on the 14 north and keep on drivin.’
I’m sorry, but I’m going to give the brown guy driving past the benefit of the doubt, mkay?
“They’re the ones who should just get on the 14 north and keep on drivin.’”
Keep this hits coming. I love it!
BGH, is this your first time being pwn’d?
Damn right get out desert trolls!
get off my lawn!
Oh yeah, just one more thing abou that second (even more telling) video…Flipping the ‘bird’ is considered a ‘gang sign’. He gets major points for turning up the music. He should have done that to begin with.
Mike says” BGH, is this your first time being pwn’d?”
I am sorry Mike I have no idea what you are asking me.
Bluffingmonkey: You are intentionally being disrespectful to me so I have nothing further to say to you. That is your usual MO anyway.
Ivogel: After he turns up the music is when he says in Spanish the equivalent of “you f@@@ing white boy pubic hair”. He also flips him the “bird” during the incident. If you speak Spanish, you can translate it for yourself since I do not want to be on the internet using that language.
On Jeff’s link to “brown skinned guy” at the beginning, as he gets out of the car it appears to me he is making some gesture. Jeff feels he is blocking the camera. Could be, or could be something else entirely.
You ask if I believe one Hispanic guy would take on a mob of white guys. Yeah. Don’t I take on a mob of white guys every time I post here? Moreover, young Hispanic guys love to play “quién es más macho”. Did not that other Hispanic fellow walk right up and start talking to the protesters waving their flags. I believe the label for him on You Tube said something like “brave guy confronts protesters”.
My point is all of us are speculating because none of us witnessed this incident first hand. I am simply challenging your assumptions because it could just as easily be my scenario as what you perceive. You Tube leaves a lot to be desired. I have no reason to believe Roger Gitlin or Barbara March would lie about what took place either.
Actually I think Barbara March is questioning why the videographer is saying “Good job” to the motorist.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOaE5_U6K_0
Is that Barbara March at :35?
I bertha reason to believe Roger Gitlin would lie because he has lied to our newspaper and was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
You ask if I believe one Hispanic guy would take on a mob of white guys. Yeah. Don’t I take on a mob of white guys every time I post here? Moreover, young Hispanic guys
Gotta love Bertha’s logic… totally the same thing
did i hear someone call the motorist a “commie’??? Hilarious!
I have it on good authority that Jeff Foxworthy is going to dedicate an entire 1 hour routine to the “goings on” in Santa Clarita. I’m so proud to be a Santa Claritan American.
“Get back in your F’n Car”, “Get Back in your F’n Car, NOW”, “Get back you little MEXICAN”…..I think the ‘flip’n the bird’ and the spanish cuss words were justified!
Were the ‘cameras’ running prior to him getting our? What transpired prior to this? Surely none of those quite peaceful protesters said anything to antagonize this man? Or perhaps this was his opportunity to confront a large group of people (that obviously felt he was an ILLEGAL) to let them know that he was just one of them… where’s the rolling eyes when I need them!
Ok – Everyone in the video were acting like total ASSES. You can’t defend either side!
The punk who stopped, pulled over, escalated the situation and took the BAIT and the overly aggressive protesters who assumed he was illegal and started name calling.
Everyone made fools of themselves.
HE WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT IN FRONT OF THESE PEOPLE….HE DID NOT “PULL OVER”!!!!!
scvfan got it right. Everyone involved – regardless of which side – acted like children.
Grow up people.
Berta Gonzalez-Haper
This has been (to say the least) very disturbing to me. I felt for this gentleman from the get-go who had the unfortunate timing of being STOPPED at a red light at the WRONG place!
After considering your translation of what the man said in his car, I decided to ask my American-Mexican (LEGAL,just like you) friend, Catalina, to translate what he is actually saying in his vehicle.
She only had to hear it once to hear the ‘MUSIC’ playing very loudly and he did say, “eres un pendejo”…translation,,,,”you dummy”…or “you stupid”…She did not here the ‘cuss’ words you refer to only those coming from the crowd on the sidewalk.
When he had the thumbs up (not a gang sign) he was actually chanting with the people on the sidewalk, “white power, white power”…in ENGLISH!
Again, the only spanish spoken word, that was even legible, is ‘pendejo’…slang for dummy, stupid, etc.,etc.
Ivogel: Sorry but your friend does not know what that word means if that is her translation. And there was a word before and after.
I agree with SCV Fan. Both sides behaved badly and I said that previously.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Pendejo
Please refer to link….
What this man was saying was “Dumb A&&”!!!
I’m guessing that ‘pubic hair’ is pretty darn offensive if that’s the translation (yes, it’s one of many) you’re referring to, however I’m guessing DUMB-A$$ means more in this context!
“I agree with SCV Fan. Both sides behaved badly and I said that previously.”
Where did you say it previously?
Alright everyone, let’s calm down. Don’t gang up on Berta, she has a right to express her views here just like everyone else. That is all. Thank you.
Berta,
You can’t deny the motorist was antagonized by the mob.
That was the first action that set him off. It’s clear the motorist had a short fuse, but this is hardly “dignity and respect.”
The fact they assumed he was illegal — from the mob to the podium — is more telling than anything.
Don’t you think it’s wrong that the crowd assumed he was illegal and talked to him as though he was? It puts him in a demeaning position – akin to lifting one’s sleeve to show there is no Star of David tattoo.
Perhaps you should spend more time in an English dictionary looking up the words used by der-Gitlin, “dignity” and “respect”, than in a Spanish one clarifying the meaning of “pendejo.”
Jeff: Thank you.
ND: As I said, I believe people on both sides behaved badly. As I also said, none of us were there and this entire incident is subject to interpretation. I simply questioned your assumptions that all the protesters are racists picking on a “brown skinned guy” to use Jeff’s label. I see a Hispanic person who could have driven off, made a right turn, or whatever and avoided the entire situation. He did not. He got out of his car, and kept it going. I also see protesters telling him to go home (yea maybe México, which he may not even be from), and being less than courteous. I do not condone either set of behaviors. I think it was at the very least stupid of the Hispanic guy to get into it with these folks and then keep it going. I also think it was stupid of the protester to say he had been arrested as an illegal (in not so nice language) simply because someone saw the guy with deputies. Plenty of stupidity to go around. However, I do not see it as clear-cut the protesters were the aggressors as you do.
Ivogel: I am not going to go into Spanish cuss words 101 with you. If someone driving by stopped, got out of their car, flipped me the bird and said the three cuss words I interpreted him to say, I would have a problem with that individual too regardless of ethnic background or race. Everyone could have handled it better.
When I first came to look at what eventually became my house in Santa Clarita, I wound up right in the middle of the “racial unrest incident” near Magic Mountain. I had to go right through an angry mob of black (or African American) young people to get on the freeway to go home. They were throwing rocks and bottles at cars. They were chanting racist remarks about whites and Hispanics. I could have rolled down my window and given them an earful. I am brave, not stupid. I did not taunt them or incite them further and they let me pass without incident. I drove through and went about my business.
Jeff’s “brown skinned guy” could have done the same. I am sure there were plenty of other Hispanics driving by without incident that day. Think about that.
I’m done….I wish I was there prior to the filming and after the filming…Prior, so I could see with my OWN eyes and hear with my OWN ears why this man who was stopped at a red light, felt the need to get out of his car in the first place. When he got back in his vehicle and flipped them off, then chanted ‘white power’, then turned up the music and said, “eres un pendejo”, I’d like to have seen where he went and stayed for the sheriffs (who DIDN’T ARREST HIM) and spoke to them, shook 2 officers hands and went on his merry way.
I wasn’t there; many of us who are posting on this blog, weren’t there. We don’t know what led up to this incident, all we have are these videos and we all can interpret what we see, in our own way.
If I were this gentleman I would have been angry; I would have been hurt; but most of all, I would have felt threatened and when people feel threatened they either retreat or attack….a little of both was happening here.
BGH:
A key difference is the motorist never claimed to treat folks with “dignity and respect” — BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER these incidents!
To call the speaker’s comment “stupid” is being generouos. At what point are you going to hold the protesters accountable and call a spade a spade?
Oh that’s right… you
Well, I do. He just went on record lying again.
Maybe it’s just me but most of those folks protesting don’t look like local trendy folks from SCV.
They’re clearly not SCV people. They were called in by Gitlin and others, however.
And they were given legitimacy by our Councilman.
I think that is a whole other issue. Gitlin brings in outsiders to make it appear like SCV has all these nuts.
Someone that voluntarily lives in Lancaster, Mojave or Victorville has to be CRAZY.
Jeff I saw a video of a guy that held up a Mexican flag and had a long haired minuteman walk over and get in his face several times, and I believe made a threat. Don’t have access to Youtube.
These Minutemen are violent people regardless of how Roger Gitlin likes to spin it.
I feel the point is…. regardless of who did what…this kind of protesting wakes up the stereotyping and the prejudice in people. The “brown-skinned guy” could have been from anywhere south of the border, but they assume he is Mexican, because he speaks Spanish. I am a proud Mexican, who became a citizen of America, but the fact that I am a citizen doesn’t stop people from assuming that I am not. I swear I am going to make and wear a shirt that says “I am Mexican and Legal”. So don’t steal this idea from me…lol!!
Some people just say WAY too much to try to justify what they have posted here… Who do we think that is!?
ND: sticks and stones….
Ivogel: I heard three separate cuss words, one of which you mentioned and interpret differently.I am done with this topic.
Kari: My t-shirt will say I am an American of Hispanic ancestry since “Mexican” is a nationality and I was born in the USA. If you are an American citizen, you are no longer Mexican but an American originally from Mexico. If you have dual citizenship, you can claim you are a Mexican/American.
The posters name is at the top of each post. If my explanation is to long for you, please do not read it. A mi no me importa.
LOL everyone should be so politically correct, if they would we wouldn’t be blogging about this. I say Mexican, because they blame it on the Mexicans. Have you been listening to what these crazies are saying!? Everything directed to the Mexicans. So now I have to wear a shirt that says “Dual Citizen”. The point I am brown and I have to put up with this stuyff everyday. And si a ti no te importa why are you blogging? Thanks for the Social Studies lesson, I don’t label myself Hispanic or Latino because the government wants me to pick one or the other Hispanic is one who speaks Spanish, therefore to vague. I like to be true to myself and my culture and I don’t feel ashamed of it.
Kari: “a mi no me importa” if YOU or anyone else like or agree with my comments. Perhaps I should have been more specific.
I am Caucasian race, female gender, American nationality, Hispanic ethnicity, California native, and very proud to be all of the above. I would be equally proud if my race was Black or Asian and all of the rest enumerated. I was Hispanic, (according to Webster’s Dictionary: of or relating to the people, speech or culture of or anyone descended from anyone from Spain, Portugal, and the Americas (North, South and Central) before it was the politically correct term as my parents taught me the difference between race and ethnicity early in life. Unfortunately, ignorance on this subject persists as witnessed by population numbers constantly referring to xx% white vs. xx% Latino/Hispanic. How do they count me? How do they count Black Hispanics or Asian Hispanics? How do they count any of us accurately? I have never been Latino just because the US Census Bureau decided that is the term used. I am not Italian, Romanian, etc or descended from anyone from the ancient Latium, as far as I know.
I know your “thanks for the civic lesson” was sarcasm but you are not the only one reading this blog. You are welcome anyway.
HAHAHA it never ends with BGH… only person that can type paragraph after paragraph and never say anything of substance or every come to a real point. When she begins to lose she claims to have said something completely different.
like when she said “As I said, I believe people on both sides behaved badly. As I also said, none of us were there and this entire incident is subject to interpretation.”
She never once said anything close to this… just continued to condemn the hispanic guy while making excuses for the mob who was sticking cameras and making racist comments and shouting profanity at the guy. She continued to falsely frame the context that the guy stopped and pulled his car over to engage this mob which wasn’t at all true.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUNl6s4r_Ko&feature=youtube_gdata
I am still waiting for her to condemn the actions, comments and profanity of the out of town minute men. Why should our citizens be subject to the abuse of Palmdale, Mojave & Victorville trailer trash?
Blah, blah, blah…. give me some substance. So let me guess who will be at the next SCV Minutemen anti illegal rally standing next to all those ignorant people condemning all the “brown skinned people” that go by. It’s for sure not going to be me. I might get told off because I am “brown skinned” and have WIC Coupons for my Foster Baby-whom which is NOT of a peasant class culture!
BGH:
BTW we don’t get counted accurately that I agree with you, but do you agree that they blame all this illegal alien/ recession mess on the MEXICANS!? These people have bundled us up into one group with has many nationalities and have made it Anti-Mexican. Blame the people who have manage our tax dollars and distribute it like if it was candy!!!
Kari: If you read my other posts, I have been saying all along it is our Federal Government and our elected officials who have made this whole situation such a mess.
There will always be those who hate on both sides. I get that and know I will never reach those people although I will keep trying and pray for a miracle. The more reasonable people do not hate anyone based on their race, skin color, country of origin, etc. The American people are amongst the most generous in the world.
I do not believe the problem is only illegals coming from México although because of sheer numbers they are more visible. You also don’t see Iraqi’s marching down Soledad Canyon Rd. waving Iraq’s flag as happened with Hispanic students protesting a few years ago marching, chanting Viva México, and waving the Méxican flag. Events like that only inflame people more and that is where you get comments like “if you don’t like it here go home.”
Plenty of people coming here illegally use México as their gateway and come for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and points south. Since no one is wearing t-shirts with their country of origin emblazoned across the front, people ignorantly assume all are Mexicans.
There are illegals from China, Kenya, Canada, Caribbean nations, Vietnam and virtually all over the world. We even have many who entered legally but overstayed their visas, etc. and are now considered illegal also.
What I am consistently saying is the United States of America has a right to limit entry to those persons who have completed the approval process and met the requirements for legal entry as established by law. The American people have a right to expect their government to protect their interests and enforce the law.
I have said many times that greedy employers should suffer consequences, elected officials should be held accountable, and Americans and others here legally should be put to work both securing our borders and speeding up the process for legal entry for those who qualify .
I do not blame those who come here regardless of where they come from. Many of them are victimized horrifically but they make the choice to take a chance and break the law. I blame those who are responsible for making sure that only those persons who have been vetted and meet the requirements are allowed to enter and welcomed, receive whatever benefits they may be entitled to, and are protected by the laws of this country.
People are angry and if this issue is not dealt with soon, I believe the radicals on both sides will step it up. I do not want to see it get to that.
“If you read my other posts, I have been saying all along it is our Federal Government and our elected officials who have made this whole situation such a mess.”
I think Activist judges are more to blame then anyone.
For those of you that have not read the constitution lately, enjoy this link.
http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html
Its our inalienable right of our nation to bare arms. Our founders knew that taking guns away from “The People” would create a police state and governmental control that could not be fought.
Nothing in his message says “Go out and create violence”. He’s just saying to be prepared, have a gun, protect yourself.
But maybe some of you would rather the US be run like China. No guns and the ability for the Gov’t to control all aspects of your life.
To those people I say, “Leave, find a country that shares your beliefs and values and stop trying to change my country!” I like it the way it was supposed to be.
To those that feel like they need to be victims and put themselves in the same classification and see this as “racism”, I am sorry you do that to yourself. Berta doesn’t, neither should you. If you are a good citizen stop letting others try to bring you down.
SCV Guy, I just couldn’t help myself.
Love this T-shirt.
Ps if anyone has a “Nixon, Nix-off” sharp as toast t-shirt, big money will be yours from Uncle NickelDime.
SCV Guy – Really so when Frank George the guy who organized this rally said in 2007 speech that a civil war may start when a person’s family member is killed by an illegal and that person UTILIZES their 2nd amendment right to kill the illegal and in turn kill the Politician that made it possible. That is what the constitution means by 2nd Amendment rights?
What about when George W called the Minute Men vigilantes and said he believe in reasonable enforcement of the law implying that the minute men are unreasonable?
This same guy was at the City Council meeting telling people to stock up on the guns and ammo. I heard him with my own ears.
He is attempting to spread reasonable panic the kind that got 4 police officers killed when they went to a house to tell the owner to keep his dog from urinating on his neighbors yard. He thought Obama was trying to take his guns because that is what everyone include the mainstream conservative media was telling him. He opened fire killing the 4 officers… shoot first ask question later.
“stop trying to change my country!” I like it the way it was supposed to be.”
HAHAHA what a redneck thing to say…
“To those that feel like they need to be victims and put themselves in the same classification and see this as “racism”, I am sorry you do that to yourself. Berta doesn’t, neither should you. If you are a good citizen stop letting others try to bring you down.”
But isn’t your message one of Victimhood…? Get guns because we are getting screwed? I get sick of listen to Rednecks whine at the smallest reasonable infringement of their 2nd amendment rights. They literally believe they should be able to own a rocket launcher.
The bottom line Minutemen are not looking to make peace they are looking for excuses to act out their vigilante tendencies.
I don’t victimize myself…I’ve lived it. Racism all around me. A man questioned me and my checkbook at UCSC my frosh year and asked me if it was loaded with financial aid money. When I was fingerprinted at a local school district the secretary told me, good luck working in California. When I went to Albertson’s and bought my groceries the checker asked me if I would be paying with EBT, just because I had WIC. When my husband gets pulled over in his beat up Acura because his “license plate was dirty” and then asked “where is the drugs and the pistola (means gun)” and never got a citation (more than once he was pulled over). And I don’t let it me down, it just gets old. I am a good citizen, I don’t even have 1 traffic ticket and this economy has left us jobless, but I move foward got a foster license and make good use of my time helping children become “good citizens” and not be a burden on the welfare system. What are YOU doing to help the economy? And that is just my opinion!
@BlazingMonk: you’re not worth arguing with. Your a ‘racist’ for calling me a redneck. I am no such thing. But I guess with people like you its a double edged sword.
I only commented on what I saw and it had no context in saying go out and shoot someone. It was about protection. I said nothing about what he said in 2007. Give me a break.
No, my message was not “victimhood”. Its about protection, balance, equality with gov’t. You need to go read your history my friend.
@Kari: I am sorry you have to experience those thing. I never said there aren’t jerks out there. They are everywhere. But to generalize that we are all racist or that America is racists is just garbage.
However I do have to say, maybe you are a little sensitive and just see all of it as racists…
“When I went to Albertson’s and bought my groceries the checker asked me if I would be paying with EBT, just because I had WIC”
This is not a racist comment at all. Its a reality and the checker was just trying to do her job and know how to ring you up. You read into this way too much.
Keep your head up. Remember, “sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you”
I tell my kids that all the time.
@BlazingMonk: you’re not worth arguing with. Your a ‘racist’ for calling me a redneck. I am no such thing. But I guess with people like you its a double edged sword.
HAHAHAHA is redneck a race? WTF…
“I only commented on what I saw and it had no context in saying go out and shoot someone. It was about protection. I said nothing about what he said in 2007. Give me a break.”
You are the one blindly defending him… use your coconut.
“No, my message was not “victimhood”. Its about protection, balance, equality with gov’t. You need to go read your history my friend.”
I know my history… and not some romanticized view. I actually read.
SCVGuy you had it right when you said “@Blazing Monk: you’re not worth arguing with. Your a ‘racist’ for calling me a redneck. I am no such thing. But I guess with people like you its a double edged sword.”
This kid just likes to argue for the sake of arguing and being disrespectful is his game.
Do not let him get to you. Not worth it is right.
This kid just likes to argue for the sake of arguing and being disrespectful is his game.
Do not let him get to you. Not worth it is right.
Bertha you argue with everyone in here…and now once again you side with an extremist.
