NotAFerryFan Unhinged

The YouTube blogger bundles all the anti-illegal alien rage he can into a 10:21 video (including pictures of day laborers standing on RailRoad) and even works me into the video at 6:30:

In all these anti-illegal immigration videos, I keep hearing Lee Greenwood. So let me reply with a message from someone they are sure to appreciate, someone who never shied away from social justice and compassion for those who have less than us, Big John Cash:

Illegal immigration is Illegal. It is breaking the law. If a U.S. citizen brakes a law we are punished. Why the Double Standard?

As for employment…I lost a job that I had for 15 years. Why? I was an interviewer handing out Community Service to people who had broken the law. The Spanish Speaking people would come in and pretend, yes, pretend that they could not speak English and and ask for a Spanish Speaking person (note: some of these people were born and raised here)

Many times I was told tgat “I stole their country” and they were going to take it back and Spanish will be the language here. That is the truth.

I speak one language. I learned Spanish phrases that I could use and it helped.

These people were doing Community Service for 2. Dui 3. Theft 3. Dog and Cock fighting.

Anyway I was told that I had to learn Spanish if I wanted to keep my job. 15 years. I did learn some Spanish but not fast enough.

The person who now has my job speaks very little English.

Brfore you think oh, she’s just prejudiced. I am not against Legal Immigration, just people who are allowed to break the laws.

Another thoughtL when I was in school the students were immersed in our classrooms. Children learn faster at a younger age. And there wasn’t any problems. We helped them and they became part of the U.S. Not Separate as they now are.

    Remember the Tower Of Babel.

El I am sorry you lost your job. I know it is hard to get by and very tough in this economy to find a decent job paying a living wage. I hope you are able to find something even better soon.
What so many people fail to understand is that illegal immigration costs all of the taxpayers billions of dollars. Illegals accepting less than minimum wage to work depress the wages for anyone in that industry. Just ask anyone in construction or manufacturing. Workers in the agricultural fields are usually paid nearly nothing. However, the taxpayers subsidize those low wages through government subsidies paid for by the taxpayers. Those able bodied persons in this country legally but receiving government subsidies could be required to work in order to receive a check. If they earn less than what they would receive staying home doing nothing, supplement their income. This would help to reduce their dependence on government subsidies and taxpayer payouts, give them the dignity of earning their own money, and return them to taxpayer status too.
Presumably, legal immigrants are protected by labor laws, paid at least minimum wage, and taxed appropriately therefore paying into a system they may collect from at some point. If you still cannot fill certain jobs, you open up more visas for that employment category and allow workers to enter legally. Coming in the right way, the immigrants avoid paying traffickers and are entitled to protection under all American laws. We know who they are, what if any criminal past they have, what skills they possess to support themselves and their families, and whether or not we want to allow them in to be our neighbors, coworkers, etc.
The billions we currently spend on illegal immigrants and their children should be spent hiring more legal citizens/residents to work securing and monitoring the borders, processing and approving visa requests for legal immigrants, teaching ESL classes so that immigrants are proficient in English, and writing legislation addressing anchor babies and other ancillary issues created by illegal immigration. Everybody wins and our laws are respected and upheld.

No hard feelings, I just wanted everyone to realize that even legal residents, and citizens, that are “brown-skinned” get treated like if we were illegals. The looks, the comments etc., it just gets old. And really this is all really redundant.
