The city council loves to claim the city is solvent, but they fail to mention that there are 30 plus FTE positions vacant. If you have not noticed, street maintenance, etc. is wanting as well. I doubt the true financial health of the city will be voiced in an election year. Bob Kellar has come close to expressing the true budget concerns, but even he was vague at best.
