Jane in answer to your “Talk to McKeon” yes I have spoken to him. I went all the way to Washington and spoke to him in his office at the Rayburn Building. What good did it do, he said he would vote against the last amnesty, but that’s all he would do. It was lip service. Beyond that he would only pander to the special interests at the time.

And for you people to imply that NO ONE BUT PEOPLE FROM SANTA CLARITA should have any say, is so hypocritical it’s amazing. You criticize American citizens for not wanting illegal aliens in their country, yet you chastise OTHERS for being in your town. What hypocrites you are.

Illegal immigration is having a devastating affect on all of California, and every citizen of this state needs to go wherever needed to fight it.

Like I said, get out of the way because we’ve stopped asking, we’re telling.

No more hiding behind political correctness. No more devaluing anger as ‘hate’. People are angry and letting their voices be heard. But those same people get labeled as radical,anti-Semitic, borderline white supremacist, racists and what ever name the left can come up with to shut them up. Well, those people are Americans of all skin color and all faiths. We won’t be afraid of your name calling anymore. And as to being out of towners, that was ANSWERLA your leftest anarchists that came from LA. Those that showed up at the rally and city council meeting were for the most part Santa Clarita residents. But illegal immigration is not just an isolated problem, and it IS a problem. Trying to paint is as a bunch of gardeners and housekeepers is as deceitful as pretending that over half of the Hispanic gang members are not illegals, which they are. We’re not taking it anymore. That you can bet on. We’re not asking, we’re telling and we want something done or get out of the way.

Not so, Nav. The influence of Rove’s “you’re for us or you aren’t a Patriot” mentality has increased polarization to an extreme. Debate by moderates is attacked as “being soft”, “giving comfort to the enemy” and such.

Look how much “enlightened debate” resulted in the votes on health care… straight along party lines, no compromise allowed.

It takes two to dance. If one side lays down and kicks it’s feet in the air, dancing ain’t gonna happen.
