Concerning the 2 sites for the future Castaic High School:
Each site owner is represented by different Attorneys.
Only the oppostion to the Hasley/Sloan site has seeked legal representation. Hunt Braly does not represent either site owner.

I’m with Phil. There were half a dozen people there from Halsey Wednesday night at the Hart meeting. He represents maybe a couple dozen people total. How is that the whole community of 20,000? And since you are going after the owner of the other property, could it be that you don’t want that school in your back yard? What community do you call home? And are you here as part of the solution or just to throw stones?

And how is this any different than the BUSINESSES of Castaic opposing the previous HS location in the industrial park?

So the Hart District will pursue eminent domain againt citizens, but not businesses? Who do they REALLY represent?

On Illegal Immigration:

This morning I went to my local 7/11 and saw a new guy stocking the shelves, etc. He didn’t look much different than me – white, professional looking, in his 40s.

My first thoughts were – now here’s a guy who is actually DOING something to help stop illegal immigration – taking one of those jobs that might have gone to a so-called illegal.

How about if the rest of the (unemployed) protesters do the same thing??? They current declining rate of illegal immigrants in this country might continue that trend even faster.

Funny how the lawyer for the homeowners in the Hasley Sloan area is also working with the owner of the other property that is being considered. Don’t say the Hart District is not making a good faith effort this time — now it’s the Castaic community’s fault.
