He also received loans in the amount of $15,789 and has the most funds on hand of all candidates at $24,279. - As for the other challengers and incumbents, Boydston received $9,039 and has $13,980 on hand, Frank Ferry received $980 (not a typo) and has $16,987 on hand, McLean received $5993 and has $17,430 on hand, and Weste received $7,325 and has $21,762 in da bank. I was caught in the net of helicopters, cop cars, and foot patrol sweeps looking for the other robbery suspect yesterday. Bad time to stop for gas! There was some serious manpower out there, I counted a minimum of 20 cars, and I even got a a brief shakedown as I walked in to the Chevron to get something to drink. Robbery on bikes? Crazy.

If you took that picture today (yes, the horse is still rearing up), there would be a Weste sign next to the Gauny sign. Someone gave David a mustache, dark eyelashes and beard over the weekend with tape but it was removed.
Interesting to note that Frank Ferry’s campaign Treasurer Dawn Langham works for him at Alemany. Frank likes the “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” approach. I wonder if she does these reports on “school time”.
Just for sh*ts and giggles, i’d be curious to see a list of babies given “birthright citizenship” who grew up to become celebrated for their achievements they’ve made – and then to see how Americans react to them once “outed.”

If you look on Google Maps, there’s a tiny gray dot precisely where the gray horse was captured rearing by Jeff (corner of Sand Canyon/Live Oak Springs Canyon). Its endurance is truly magnificent.

On the Johnny Pride article in today’s Signal Newspaper, I hope it was a misquote on the part of reporter Marianne Love but the article quoting Sgt. Dan Scott states “ Scott said Pride PROVIDED alcohol to the two teens on Thursday…” The article and/or Sgt. Scott does not say ALLEGEDLY provided…as though it was an already proven fact, as in after a trial, judge/jury, etc.
Before you all jump on me for ALLEGEDLY defending Mr. Pride, I am not. I do not know whether he is innocent or guilty as I do not know the guy or have all of the facts in this case. I am simply commenting that the article/Sgt. Scott should make it clear that these are ALLEGED crimes…You know innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Ya know there are a lot of very successful foreign citizens. Who care’s what the statistic is? The bottom line is that we are either going to continue to tolerate illegal immigration, or put a stop to it. Anchor babies is just one element of a long-overdue strategy to have these people stop living in the shadows, being taken advantage of by unscrupulous people, and immigrate legally.

Not racism, not ethnicity, not religion, not economic or educational level, not decent versus pervert, not successful versus failure. The issue is whether someone has the right legally to be in the USA and whether by that act of breaking immigration law and coming here illegally his or her offspring should have the right to automatic birthright citizenship.

Nevertheless, setting that issue aside, I would think that anyone registering voters should have at least a rudimentary command of the English language and know to ask, “Are you eligible to register to vote in this election?” Then ask for verification of identity. It appears from the articles and reports that I have read, where they signed up dogs, cats, the deceased, and others, clearly even by your standards ineligible, they are not asking this question or being required to verify the answer. In my humble opinion taxpayer money should not be given to this company.

Hey, guys you do not get to have it both ways. Either you are for enforcing immigration law or you are for allowing illegals to remain in the USA by virtue of doing nothing or amnesty.
If you are for the latter, illegals receive, and most likely will continue to, all kinds of taxpayer funded benefits that should be reserved for those here legally. It is not that difficult to comprehend.

ND & Mike, we are cool. But a vehimently disagree with your stance on illegal aliens. If they are here illegally, using services such as schools, hospitals, emergency services, driving on our roads then they are receiving entitlements that I paid for. It is the same as if I came over to your house, took up residences in your living room and watch your cable tv and hijacked your WiFi. Then there are those who prey on illegals because they know they don’t have the resources to go to authorities. Shame on us for allowing this to continue unchecked for so long.
