Cam Smyth robo-calls for Weste, Ferry, McLean

At home on my lunch hour, the phone rings. I pick up and say “hello” pleasantly.

“Hello, this is….”

Holy schnikes it’s Cameron Smyth in his deep, musky voice calling. I haven’t heard from him in awhile, what’s he want?

I listen.

Our good Assemblyman is doing robo-calls for the three incumbents, citing their ‘strong record’ of fiscal management, safety, and competence.

The robo-call was paid for by Citizens for Integrity in Government, the same outfit that’s bankrolling a number of mailers (as seen in NAFF’s video today) and an emailed flyer that hit my box yesterday.

Back to my lunch. More determined than ever to elect Boydston, if for no other reason that to up-end the apple cart like we did at Hart last year (ironically, Joe Messina’s company is the one that sent out the Citizens for Integrity in Government email yesterday).

A little revolution now and then is a good thing, wouldn’t you say?

It is a crime the outrageous advantage incumbents have. We need term limits because that is the only way new blood will get in those seats, the only way the people of this city will have representation for THE PEOPLE.

Frank Ferry whining about his lack of money? All three of these jokers get an enormous amount of PAC money sending mountains of mailers for them. And in spite of the tremendous advantage incumbents have, these petty whiners have the nerve to complain about every little thing they see as a positive for challengers. Even our local trashy newspaper is determined to keep the truth about incumbent corruption from voters and couldn’t care less how ridiculous and unethical their rag looks doing it, and they even unfairly smear challengers with made-up crap while ignoring REAL corruption about incumbents.

8 years and incumbents should go. These developer/lobbyist-chummy incumbents forgot about US long ago and are all way past their shelf life. And that includes Laurie Ender, didn’t even take 8 years to get sick of that one. Time to cut the cord that ties our incumbent trash to lobbyists, a dishonest, community newspaper, and the Pulskamp/Brotzman camp.

Even “IF” the Signal writes a story about the latest Frank Ferry FPPC filing, I am sure Ms. Ortiz will have first choice at the “spin”.
    Vote! No Incumbents
