No affiliation?

The “Unknown Blogger” behind the TeaPartySCV.com site that posted that racial joke last week insists he’s unaffiliated with other Tea Partiers in the SCV and that he only posts for himself. Apparently someone got to him and doesn’t want the public to associate his racism with the nice group of people who marched in the parade this weekend.

But if that’s the case, if TeaPartySCV.com is some renegade website unaffiliated with the others, how come the unified Tea Party Patriots SCV (the people behind the parade entry) link to him -indeed celebrate him as the Infamous Unknown blogger?

As if that weren’t damning enough, the anonymous blogger has self-censored and deleted the joke from his website:

Wake up and smell the scrubbing!

So much for being a swashbuckling fearless defender of our Founder’s Ideals. Do you think the Founding Fathers would have run from such controversy? Do you think the Founders would have self-censored?

To set the record straight, here’s what TeaPartySCV.com posted last week before the scrubbing:

I love the little disclaimer at the end. As if it's my problem that I took offense at his racial joke

You are a coward TeaParty SCV “Unknown blogger.” And the only only thing worse than a controversial and cowardly blogger is a controversial and cowardly blogger who doesn’t stand behind his posts and tries to scrub them from his blog.

Fortunately nothing is deleted permanently on the internet and your cowardice is available for all to see.

Well, at least the fine government hacks at the TSA will be safe from his controversial opinions.

Racism is no big deal to John Adams & Fred Butler.

Where is Bill Reynolds to condemn this cowardly behavior?

Mr. Teabagger himself doesn’t have the rocks to condemn his own group? Not surprised.

What was worse? That joke or Obama joking about the special olympics? Maybe you can post a link to your commentary condemning Obama? We are all waiting?

You are so on top of things, you probably have no clue what I am talking about.

I love how everyone is Angry but conservatives.

I am perfectly happy with life.

I would be happy to give my position once you give your position on the Presidents place of birth. Real simple… why shy away from such a simple question.

Nate, how about we make a deal. If I can show you where on this blog I have already answered that question you will either agree to:

    a. Never come back on here with any of your 3-6 names.

    or
    b. admit you are my bitch and agree to never try and match wits with me again.

Now if I can not produce this answer that I claim I have already made. I will..

    a. Never come back on here again

    b. admit I am your bitch and agree to never try and match wits with you again.

    Deal?

(hey mike want to make a side bet on whether he takes this deal? Dinner at winners choice)

These are all wonderful diversions! Obama’s Special Olympics gaff, remarks about the TSA and a Black Panther coverup are all great ammunition in the attempt to dodge the issue of this blog article. Good for you!

I would like to think that a new party who states that they are ready to take the country in a new, better direction would rise above and set an example of the Christian moral leadership and values they so strive to shove down our throats.

Ooo I must’ve hit a nerve there, Johnny A. Geez, self important much? My responses have absolutely nothing to do with you. I’m referring to a few things along the lines of our local Tea Party and religion:

-Known Tea Party supporters helped sponsor the recent Mayors Prayer Breakfast in which Rick Green, a “Wallbuilder” who spoke on the importance of prayer in the framing of American and cited numerous documents and proclamations issued by the founding fathers on the importance and necessity of prayer for the guidance of the country.
-The head of the local Tea Party movement posts music videos with lyrics to wit: “There’s no separation, we’re one nation under him.” The interesting video posted by Chris Lim regarding “God and core values” has been removed. He has also stated “Our Founding Fathers understood that religion is indispensible to a proper functioning republic.”

So there are a few references, dear John, that have absolutely nothing in the world to do with you. Good for you and your beliefs…and sorry about your dysfunction. I’m sure it’ll clear up! :)

Since folks are so thin-skinned, politically correct, and easily offended, removing the joke was the gentlemanly thing to do. The joke was not that funny to me because it seems so true. Our welfare system is broke and the truth is that many people who are here illegally are taking advantage of these programs. Many illegals are getting services, money, and welfare that we cannot afford to give. Heck……some are using their food stamps to gamble. Doesn’t sound fair to me and that’s why these types of jokes go around on the internet. I don’t think the joke was as racial as it was poking fun at the welfare system. You have to be living in a cave to not see the abuse…especially in CA. The unknown blogger posted a joke……..yes he did. But you are acting like a bully and a thug. You are obviously very immature if calling names is appealing to you. But then….most liberals are bullies and name callers aren’t they? I wish for once they could actually address the issues behind all the jokes instead of just posting mean spirited insults. How sad and sophomoric of you.

Hmmm, “My dogs are mixed breed, unemployed and lazy.” Sounds racial to me, but then again, maybe I’m just thin-skinned.
According to the Congressional Research Service, undocumented immigrants, who comprise nearly one-third of all immigrants in the country, are not eligible to receive public “welfare” benefits — ever. Another report from the Urban Institute points out that less than 1 percent of households headed by undocumented immigrants receive cash assistance for needy families, compared to 5 percent of households headed by native-born U.S. citizens. I don’t know of any casinos that take food stamps, either.

U.S.-born, U.S.-citizen children of undocumented immigrants are eligible for programs such as Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Those are actual facts with cited sources and not based on heresay or scapegoat rhetoric.

The fact is however that someone who has freely aligned themselves with the local Tea Party movement posted a racially insensitive “anecdote” and then tried to backtrack by saying he(?) is not affiliated with the official Tea Party Patriots of Santa Clarita…who just happen to have a nice sizeable, easily found link TO the teapartyscv.com site on their home page. Perhaps it’s not a ringing endorsement of such low-brow attempts to slander minorities and those less fortunate, but it most certainly doesn’t demonstrate any distance or disavowment from those views, either.

I want everyone to notice Jeff has cowardly (his words) taken Tim meyers original post regarding the accident off his blog. Why is one act cowardly and the other not? I am sure we will get a explanation of this consistency

One county in one state, that is what Los Angeles County is in the grand scheme of things. Just one county among the 3,100+ that encompass the whole of the United States. This one county though is facing an unparalleled burden of shouldering over $1 billion dollars per year in spending on illegal aliens and their children. This number does not even include the costs of education and other expenses not mentioned in the report below by Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

LA County spent $50 million in January alone for food stamps and other welfare services. That’s per month. Lets calculate this… 50 x 12, $600 million, then add in the $500 million for the health care mentioned int e report below and the $350 million for public safety… I have no problem stating that the true numbers are probably more than $1.5 billion annually – still not including education. And that’s just public spending through the government, imagine the private costs people are paying in terms of higher insurance rates to cover all the illegal alien drivers without insurance who get in accidents… or the expense people are paying due to being victims of identity theft when an illegal steals their identity to get a job or housing (and the depression that occurs when you get a tax due notice from the IRS for monies you didn’t earn).

So it’s $600 million a year now eh? I’ve been following this trend for a while. In April 2007, LA County reported that illegal aliens were using $35 million per month in CalWorks and Food Stamps. By August 2008 that number had crept to $37 million per month. A year and a half later it is now up to $50 million per month. If you’ve been hearing that illegal aliens are leaving the United States, you’re being lied to. The numbers prove out the truth.

This is all fraudulent monies obtained by illegal aliens and if there is a mass amnesty passed for illegal aliens this number is surely to triple or quadruple. I kind of wonder exactly how friendly Los Angelenos are going to be to their new legal residents when they bring their whole families to the county and push that number above to $3-$4 billion per year. Of course people who live there are not thinking logically or thinking ahead. Many of them are sympathetic supporters of illegal aliens. If they thought parts of Los Angeles were bad now, wait until a tripling of public service users hit their county.

Education expenses can’t be ignored though as they are so large as to dwarf any talk of the costs of enforcing immigration laws or building a border fence. illegal aliens cost California nearly $9 billion a year in education expenses, according to a 2004 report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform. A report from the same group in 2005 entitled “Breaking the Piggy Bank: How Illegal Immigration is Sending Schools Into the Red” put the national costs – not include free and low cost lunches or English as a Second Language (ESL) – at $28.6 billion per year. Mind you these reports are years old and the population of illegals and their children has grown substantially.

    The Signal
