The opposite of crop circles?
Minimal roads. Good Environmental layout, to help recharge the aquifer.
The photo of Los Angeles Freeways must be wrong… there are no cars on those freeways and connectors… mut be a fake picture
The crop circle development idea will never work here. The long front yards make each mailbox too far away from the front door and it’s just not realistic to expect people to walk that far. Plus, where the hell can I park my monster truck?
The distance between the house and the car is not convenient. A car full of groceries with a baby or having to clear a path of snow from the house to the car would be an effort especially during the long winters in Copenhagen.
Interesting that the suburban houses here only have one parking spot per house. The petro/diesel and cars must be expensive in Europe.
Ahhh yes, the home of Denmark’s most famous newspaper, the Jyllands-Posten (cartoon fame).
Would you rather….
would you rather live in Copenhagen Denmark, or Mit GahmrDelta,Egypt?
What about Reseda? Though “it’s a long day livin’ in Reseda”. . . .
But I’m Free!!! Free Fallin!!!!
I’m surprised… I thought for sure you were busted for growing maryjane in Valencia! Wasn’t your house? Ha!
Bill, in my 50 years I have never tasted the sweet, sweet bud, but if California voters end up legalizing it by referendum I do plan to spark it up!
Then you really don’t if it’s a sweet, sweet bud…
Great WW post, reminds me of my HOA and its cul de sacs.
I linked my Almost Wordless Wednesday post about how apparently, Mike Rowe, the Dirty Jobs host, is the model for Placerita J.H.S. Miners mascot. Things that make you go hmm.
Great WW post, Jeff, thank you. The circles remind me of our cul de sacs in my HOA without canyons.
Here’s my Almost Wordless Wednesday post about Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs apparently modeling as the Placerita Miners Mascot. http://comicallyflawed.blogspot.com/2010/09/dirty-jobs-guy-doubles-as-school-mascot.html
