Sharon Angle, the former Nevada state legislator, is coming to talk to the SCV Patriots and David Gauny’s Republican club later this month:
Sharron what and Angle who you say?
That would be the Sharron Angle who made a name for herself in the 2010 elections for some pretty wild statements in her run against Harry Reid for United States Senate representing the good people of Nevada.
You might remember her from such adroit policy prescriptions as:
On Economic Development for her state:
“People ask me, ‘What are you going to do to develop jobs in your state?’ Well, that’s not my job as a U.S. senator.” –Sharron Angle, May 14, 2010
On the best method to get Harry Reid out of office:
“I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I’ll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out.”
On the value of unemployment benefits vs working:
“You can make more money on unemployment than you can going down and getting one of those jobs that is an honest job, but it doesn’t pay as much. And so that’s what’s happened to us is that we have put in so much entitlement into our government that we really have spoiled our citizenry and said you don’t want the jobs that are available.”
And so on.
Yes. That Sharron Angle. The Sharron Angle who makes Sarah Palin look like a 60s hippy and Christine O’Donnell like a Rhodes Scholar.
She’ll be enlightening the SCV Tea Party on “Election Integrity,” aka “How to keep people who aren’t gonig to vote for you anyway from the ballot box.” (Democrats have their own spin on this topic, we have seminars on how to spot voter intimidation, which is the other side of the coin).
I’m most not certainly not an Angle fan, but in the Tea Party realm, she’s a leader, ambassador, theologian, and political philosopher all wrapped up in one. For the local Tea Party folks, this has to be a headline event, reward & recognition for all the hard work they’ve put into bashing the government over the last two years.
And so this is one Tea Party event I may have to crash.
You’ve got to be kidding me. A self-parody alert if there ever was one. And they complain about not getting love from the party machine?
It’s a little awkward that Sharron’s name is misspelled on the invitation–missing an “r”.
It went through the spell check without a problem. Gods in the skies above Saugus seem to be very angry this afternoon. Lots of thunder and lightening.
“Lightening” goes through spell check, too.
Right Angle – ha! Someone flunked geometry. Clearly that Angle is obtuse!
Certainly not acute
Isn’t she the one who said “autism” shouldn’t be covered under medical insurance, or something? And if your done being pregnant, why pay into a system that supports maternity leave? I mean, really.
*you’re
Angle’s got nothing on Ms. Bachmann with her twice stated implication after last night’s debate that a girl became mentally retarded after having an HPV immunization injection.
So wait, is there more than one Tea Party group in SCV? And Petz, Nate and myself missed you for coffee this morning. We also missed Lil Billy No Show too and I wouldv’e been upset but that coffee at Undergrounds was pretty good.
Angle would wipe the floor with Reid if the election were held today. It must be hard on Weiner to see his seat taken by a Republican in the special election today. A real political earthquake across our nation.
Hardly an earthquake, Petz. New York just switched positions in their congressional seating. One Democrat took a Republican seat in a special election earlier this year, one Republican took the seat (or crotch, as it were) of a Democrat. We’re back to square one.
The registration differential Dem / Rep was much different in the district making this election historical and predictive. The Jewish voters know who will defend Israel in the wake of the Arab spring as they are threatened by mobs in Egypt, missles from Iran, and Palestinians attempt to acheive statehood recognition from the UN. When the Dems start losing the Jewish vote-it is noteable and you know it. This was the tipping point my friend.
So Jewish folks are jumping in bed with the hard right, a group that holds End Times prophecy in high esteem and wants to hasten events “for a time such as this?”
You need to get a grip on reality. No man knows the day or hour. Petz hopes you take the time to visit the SCV Patriot Sharron Angle event . Better yet, ride on over to the park this weekend for Constitution Day and see what we are doing to educate America.
These are Orthodox Jews who are miffed about gay marriage initiatives.
So you would prefer a people live in an Occupied Territory aka No Rights and Status, as opposed to being self governed or becoming Israeli citizens? I guess when people starting looking at their fellow human beings as “coach roaches”(cough, cough Coastal) instead of human beings then we are doomed to fail.
On another note Petz, Google CAIR’s report on American Muslim voters. There are anywhere from 4-5 Million Muslims in America. Statistically we vote at a higher comparison rate than our non-Muslim counterparts. We also are more educated per capita as well, since the majority are doctors, engineers, etc. We are working hard within all of our communities to develop a nationwide voting bloc and supporting the candidates who have our best interest in mind. I would have to wager that at this stage, there is NO Tea Party candidate who has this support. You can always go ahead and discount us if you like but we will have an impact through our votes, albeit one you dislike.
*cock
Hahaha that didn’t look good *cockroach
Educate or re-educate?
And yes, I mean this! Beware Newspeak and the subtle changing of history to fit this agenda.
Read!
Petz urge you to start reading the Constitution and the federalist papers. I had an interesting convsration with Brother Karamzov at Bible Study on Sunday- he is a Fifth grade teacher in the Newhall District-and American history buff. He told me that the teaching of social studies-including the founding documents is not emphasized because it is not included in the API tests. It is our jop to EDUCATE our youth about the founders and our basic documents and the SCV Patriots have stood up to do just that.
Will the Tea Party be using Wallbuilders-supplied information at this event? Or presenting information as filtered by Wallbuilders? I’ve seen the flyer. I know the registered groups.
At the meeting-”Wallbuilders” was not referenced- this will be non-partisan-even Come down and see what you think. voter registration activity will not be allowed in the park.
Okay. I understand. Alice told me the same thing. No overt Wallbuilders stuff.
However, will the presenters, the actors, the information being passed out, to your knowledge, will any of that be informed, or based, on Wallbuilders materials?
IOW, is this event put on by laypeople educated/informed/inspired/compelled by Wallbuilders?
Let’s not build Walls between us-let us build bridges that bring citizens together as on nation united-under God.
You have no right pushing
religion into our political debate,
unless your purpose is to further divide America into uncrossable theological boundaries. We will never be united under YOUR god! It doesn’t work like that.
But if you really want to create a schism based on religion, that sounds familiar.
So many failed regimes start by picking a group of people and assigning all of societies woes on them. See Rep. King and his Muslim McCarthy hearings. Little by little fanning the flames of intolerance.
These ultra-nationalists scare me. They wrap themselves in the flag and you can see that in every Petz post.
If you think Angle, Palin, Bachmann, Perry and the rest are intelligent and qualified to lead America, you really need to go back to school.
Your problem is you went to school .
