There is something a bit unsavory about meeting behind a carwash for a weiner...

I'm hitting Morton's Steakhouse tonight.  I'm starting off with a Dirty Martini...

if it helps, it's in front of the car wash. We conduct our business in the open in SCV.

If things work out, I'll be trying the Railroad Cafe in Newhall tonight.  Kogi is a possibility.

I'm thinking of the Rib-eye myself.  Maybe a caprese (sp) salad too.

rib-eye is the way to go. Med-rare or thereabouts?

Kogi? not in this rain.  RR cafe was coffee & muffins only.  Cappuccino was pretty good. Worthy of a return trip or two.

TimBen Boydston crossed party lines and gave a pitch.  I thought he did well. My mind is still open, but he's probably nudged himself into first place on my power rankings.

Bone-in Rib-eye, cooked medium rare.  It was delish!  Appetizers included raw oysters, jumbo shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, Oysters Rockefeller, & crab cakes.  I have lots of leftovers.

Now, I have another dinner at Flemmings tonight.  Should I compare or go with the lamb?

I don't know if I believe you!

Compare! there is plenty of time/place for lamb.  Flemmings steaks are far too good to pass up.

I know, I actually like them better than Mortons.  But I still have half my rib-eye from last night in the fridge.  I guess I could have a steak salad on Sunday and my 10lb wonder dog (more chops than Lucy) will enjoy the bones.
