Do you pull for Germany in this Jammer?
I'm excited to watch some matches.

One should not watch World Cup without their Vuvuzela in hand. This is the "bee swarming" like sound in the background of the telecast. Go US-beat BP- err ahhh England. http://www.youtube.com/v/SrYb9qtO8OQ&rel=0

The same long plastic ones that kept one up all night along the Rose Parade route?

Banning the vuvuzela at World Cup matches would show a shocking lack of cultural sensitivity. http://soccer.fanhouse.com/2010/06/13/vuvuzela-ban-could-come-to-world-cup/World Cup organizers are considering a vuvuzela ban at World Cup 2010.

My wife is quite the World Cup fan,and looks like we'll be having company to watch the final.
I will cheer for USA, until they are eliminated, and then I'll just cheer for whoever is playing against the team my wife likes.

Let us know if you need a place to hang out for a while That's very generous of you Phil. I think I'm ok, until the finals arrive, and even then she'll probably want me around to serve our guests drinks. Today was easy. We both wanted Brazil to crush the evil North Koreans. My wife is Latina, so she showed no mercy for anyone challenging her Brazillians. I, on the other hand, occassionally wondered aloud if, "Kim Jung Il has any nasty punshiments awaiting these poor bastards, if they lose."

And we are negotiationg with these people about their nuclear program. http://deadspin.com/5564578/north-korean-soccer-fans-are-actually-chinese-volunteersNorth Korea's World Cup debut elicited touching stories about the ragtag group of soccer fans "hand-picked" by the Communist regime to support their squad in South Africa. Turns out they were hand-picked for their skill at not being Korean.
