The mall has sure been busy the last few weekends.  A couple of sources tell me things are looking good for retailers so far this season.

Combined with the decrease in unemployment figures for California, perhaps we are seeing the beginning of the end of the recession?  We can only hope....

There are other positive signs, however, I have seen no projections that climb out of the recession will be swift.
